Making Your Decision
Deciding on what help you need can be a daunting task, especially if you are
making these decisions for the first time, or if you’re helping a loved one or friend to make
these decisions.
We are here to help! All you need to do is give us a call and we will be happy
to give you advice on the phone or we can arrange for a co-ordinator to come and have a chat
about your options.
Remember not everyone makes the right decisions about their care/support plans the
first time. This is where we can offer our experience to ensure the help you require is initiated
from the start.
At Home Service we have the capacity to be flexible with the services we supply,
helping to ensure your support is delivered to you as and when you need it.
Home Service believes your decision to choose a Home Care Provider should be based
on four basic factors:
Establishment - Has the Provider been established for a long time or are they a new company?
Home Service has been providing care to the community for over 22 years with strong family values.
Quality - Has the Provider been receiving good reports from their regulatory body Care Quality Commission?
Read our reports here: http://www.cqc.org.uk
Training - Is there a good standard of training throughout the company?
Home Service strongly believes that all care/support workers need to gain some experience
and knowledge of the care sector before they care for our clients. That is why our recruitment and training
programmes are initiated before they commence work. All carers complete a full in-house training programme
and shadowing sessions with senior carers.
Value for money
As a care provider in Herne Bay and Whitstable we know that our prices are very
competitive in the area we provide our services, with the added value of knowing that we are a
provider of the highest quality.
