Personal Support Care
The aim of Home Service is to ensure that each service user has choice over the way that personal care is delivered and that care workers promote independence whilst assisting with personal care needs. Personal care tasks are those which require close personal and physical contact and that are necessary to enable the service user to be clean, fed and comfortable.
We feel that service users must be involved at all times - our care workers will ensure they ask how the service user likes things done, what they would like to wear for example. We encourage service users to do whatever they can for themselves with assistance from the care worker. The dignity and privacy of the service user is paramount.
