About Us

We are a family run business called Home Service Complete Care. We were established in 1989 and are now one of the longest running providers of home care services in Kent. Our office is located in Herne Bay in the grounds of our highly successful residential care home, Whitebirch Lodge.

Who are we?

• We provide our services to the areas of Herne Bay, Whitstable and the surrounding villages.
• We work closely with other services and professionals to provide services tailored to the needs of the service user and to maximise their independence and encourage them, when possible, to participate in their community.
• We are 'Preferred Providers' to KCC Social Services and registered with the Care Quality Commission and we work hard to reach and exceed the National Minimum Standards.
• We have gained the recognition status of Investors in People since 2006; in 2011 we exceeded the standard recognition and were awarded a higher Bronze status.
• In recent years we have been nominated twice for the Kent Business Award (Social Care). We were instrumental in setting up the Kent Community Care Association and work with them to improve home care for service users and providers in Kent.
• We have a robust Quality Assurance programme which ensures all services are continuously reviewed with input from our service users, our staff and our commissioners. Any patterns are analysed and used to improve our services.
• We have a robust complaints procedure which is also used to improve our services. Our Service User Guide includes a copy of the complaints procedure or you can contact our office and a copy will be sent to you.
• Our use of the latest technology ensures that an immediate response is always available from our helpful and fully trained staff.
